Beginning in a few weeks, RedBox will begin offering Blu-ray Discs for $1.50. I’m actually a little surprised it took this long, but happy they’re making it happen!

Before even opening the press release, just seeing the name “Google” in the tile had me excited. Google TV is a new service, kinda like a hulu, allowing you to watch network programing whenever you want. The key difference is, this is meant to be viewed on your television. Future set will have Google TV built in but you will also be able to purchase a set top box made by Logitech. I’m not sure, until i get my hands on one, that i can really do it justice, so here’s a video that will tell you all you need to know.

If you have a flat panel tv and you’re an audiophile, you know the built in speakers leave a lil something to be desired. JVC jusr announced two new sound bars aimed to enhace you hdtv viewing experience.
The first is the TH-BA3 ($549.95), which is a 280 watt, 5.1 suround sound system. it’s made up a sub-woofer, left and right rear speakers, and a reicever, all of wich are wireless. And the main component, a soundbar.
The second is the TH-BS7 ($599.95) is a180 watt, 4.1 channel unit. it measures 1.4 inches high and comes with a wireless subwoofer and a wall mountable, 1.2 inch deep amplifier/control unit.
