Written on December 21st, 2010 by Gadget Tno shouts

The holiday season is upon us, and we all know what that means… gift giving, sometimes obligatory. After your immediate loved ones, there is one particular person who can add pressure to your “must find” gift list – your boss. The extent of your admiration for – or fear of – your boss might determine how much you are willing to spend on them, just as much as your actual budget.

Ultrasone Edition 10 headphones, luxury…first class!

Written on October 5th, 2010 by Gadget Tone shout

I’ve never thought of headphones as a luxury item, but Ultrasone has just changed my mind.  Any one with a lil extra cash can grab a pair of headphones that sound incredible, but if you want exclusivity, you get yourself a pair of the Edition 10′s.  Theyre made out of stuff you don’t see everyday, in some cases never in you life.  The drivers are titanium plated and the wires are 99.99% pure copper plated in silver and coted with kevlar, you know the same stuff bullet prooff vests are made of (good luck trying to damage those cables).  The earpads are made from Ethiopian sheepskin,  the cup is plated with ruthenium (a member of the platinum family), and since they only 2010 of them, I doubt any of your friends can say that.
