Now this isn’t a gadget per se, but it is definitely a tech toy. Since they will be turning 100 years old this summer, Alfa Romeo is turning up the heat with this aggressive futuristic concept, the Pandion. I highly doubt that there are more recalls than usual, but it seems auto makers want to make sure that the public and the media both know that they are on top of their game.
Yesterday GM recalled 1.3 million Chevy Cobalts and Pontiac vehicles sold in North America. The culprit is a faulty power steering mechanism that can lock up.
And today Nissan joins the party recalling 540,000 vehicles worldwide due to 2 separate issues. The first is a brake pin that become dislodged and compromise braking. The second is a fuel gauge problem that would cause the car to inaccurately measure the amount of fuel in the vehicle.

In the wake of Toyota’s recall woes, Chrysler is making no hesitation to to announce their “safety improvement campaign” (recalls in my book) on over 350,000 Town and Countries and Dodge Caravans from 2005 and 2006. The safety sensors crack and fail resulting in the airbags not opening in a crash. They haven’t had any complaints, but they’ve learned from Toyota, and are addressing the issue right away.

Is it just me, or does it seem like Lexus has been exempt from this Toyota recall? Does Lexus not really have any problems, or do they not want to ruin their luxury name by sweeping it under the rug? Let me know what you think.
We’re 3 days into CES 2010 and it is full of products and announcements galore. New products and technologies came out in full force, from 3d, to in vehicle tech, audio equipment, mobile devices and the thinnest televisions you will see anywhere.

So i got a lattop and I got a desktop or two, but after i took a ride Telemetria, I want a DashTop System. This is the ultimate in-dash pc, it could access everything from your favorite media to vehicle diagnostics, plus, it’s fully customizable. I think the only thing it didn’t do was drive the car. Take a spin around the block with me and check it out.
