I had the pleasure of demoing the ZBASE 580. its a single cabinet, dual sub-woofer virtual surround sound speaker system. When judging this product i based it on 6 criteria: ease of setup, ease of use, versatility, sound quality, suround sound and value.
In Ease of setup, it scores an A. It was extremely easy to set up. if you can plug in two composite cables, you’re golden.
It was a true plug and play operation. And if you get tired of using the included remote control, the 580 can with about 4 button pushes learn to use you remote control and not the other way around. For those reasons, it also revived an A in the Ease of use category.(more…)
