I know I know, it’s been a minute, but check out the piece i did on the 3D entertainment industry

SESAC teams up with TuneSat for tv tracking

If you write music, you know SESAC is one of the premier PRO’s (performance rights organizations).  They ensure that their clients are paid every time their work is played or performed publicly via tv, radio, even elevators etc.  Traditionally the industry would use cue sheets in order to track music performances on television, but they are notorious for being inaccurate.  TuneSat on the other hand, has the ability to accurately detect even when played in the background under dialogue or sound effects.

Intel invests in America

Intel pledges $3.5 million to help create jobs for college graduates. Since they are a tech company, of course they will be focusing on wireless infrastructure and other emerging technology… Definitely a good look. I’m curious to see who else will follow suit.
