There’s no doubt CES is the premier event for tech nerds and gadget enthusiasts the world over.  But
this same excitement that brings scores of thousands of people to Las Vegas is the major source for
my frustration.  At this point you’re probably like, “What could be so bad in Vegas?  You escaped the
cold of the North East, you have no boss to answer to, no pager ringing, what could be the problem?”
The problem is I came all the way to CES and can’t get my much coveted “press bag”!!!  If you’ve
never been to CES let me explain.  When you register a member of the press, as a part of your
welcome pack you receive a coupon to get a Toshiba sponsored laptop bag.

Before I finish I should let you know I am blogging at the SHARP NBC/Universal sitting next Jim

I know I know, it is just a bag, but it’s the principle.  apparently, my registration was incomplete so I
was not qualified for a bag.  i wasn’t even gonna press the issue,but after being here for 3 days and
seeing everyone else with their bags, I got a lil jealous.  So after I finally cleared that up, and going
from room to room to room, I got the news… No more bags!

That was a simplified version of what happened, but I don’t wanna bore you with the details.  The
moral of the story, make sure everything is order nice and early so you can get your press bag.  On a
side note, I met Rohan Marley, pics coming soon.
