I love smart phones and everything you can do with them especially the apps. And when it comes to apps, i have 3 criteria that i go by:
- Free. you never know if you’re gonna like an app once it’s downloaded. Even though it may only be $4.99, who wants to keep dropping money on crap you just uninstall?
- Cool factor. If it’s not cool and you can’t brag about it, what’s the point?
- Ease of use. If i gotta read manual to figure it out, i don’t want it.
- Usefulness. If I have no desire to use it, it’s just taking up space!
I’ve only played with it a couple times but i got to say Nuances Dragon for Email is my fav pick for 2010. It easily passes all of these tests with flying colors. It’s a free download, sets up in minutes, can be used whenever. And most importantly, it’s cool. The phone types for you! If you have a Blackberry, I recommend it.
