How to Jailbreak iPhone 3G iOS 4.0.1

Step 1: Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes

installed (iTunes 9.2).

Step 2: Download iOS 4.0.1 firmware and 4.0 firmware for

iPhone 3G to your desktop

Step 3: Update your iPhone to via iOS 4.0.1 in iTunes

Step 4: Download the latest version of RedSn0w 0.9.5b5

Step 5: Point RedSn0w to the iOS 4 you downloaded in step 2.

Follow instruction on your Screen

(Only select Install Cydia and Install Multitasking)

Follow instruction on ur Screen

Step 6 : Let RedSn0w do the hard work for you. Once

jailbroken, your iPhone will reboot.

Step 7 : Press to launch Cydia Installer from your

Springboard.

Step 8 : Press to select the Manage tab at the bottom of the

screen.

Step 9 : Press to select the large Sources button

Step 10 : Select http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com
