Sony Ericsson has brought the Xperia™ X1 state side without the backing of a major carrier.  So you might be thinking, what does that mean?  Well for you it means you have to buy it directly from Sony for the price of $800.  On  the up side, the phone is unlocked and you can use it with the GSM carrier of your choice.

For Sony Ericsson, their sales won’t be as high ’cause they won’t have that “in your face” marketing that you get when you have Verizon or AT&T behind you.

This phone has features out the wahzoo:

  • touch screen

  • full qwerty keyboard

  • wi-fi

  • push email

  • Windows OS

Basically too many  to mention, but you check them all out here
