OK, so I’m an avid Sidekick user, and once I had the Sidekick 3, I never felt the need for another phone until now. Why one might ask? Well the screen refuses to light up when you want to use it. The only part that seems to be illuminated is the keyboard, and this however, occurs sporadically.  Yes I know I still have a Sidekick 3 even with the numerous models T-Mobile has come out with.  My ‘tank’ has never failed me until now, and I wouldn’t necessarily call it failing me, more like it has come to a point where retirement is not completely out of the question.

But when? when? When will the makers of the Sidekick come out with a touch screen model?  Honestly that’s the only way they will get me to retire my ‘tank’. Until then I will proudly view who’s calling me, surf the net, read and send text with the help of natural light or a dare I say a study lamp as I patiently wait for a touch screen Sidekick, but if my ‘tank’ ultimately fails me I have to give in and replace it with the Sidekick LX…oohhh the horror.
