I got my hands on an Acer Aspire 6930, and it’s a pretty good machine. It has just about all the features you may want and or need, but here’s the run down
Good:
- full size keyboard and huge diplay make forget you on a laptop
- dvd’s play beautifully
- price can’t be beat, Best Buy had it for $550
- blazing fast cpu
- speakers are some of the best i’ve heard on a laptop
Bad:
- The only draw back I can find is it’s weight. 7.5 lbs doesn’t seem like much, but don’t try to tote it around all day.
I’d say if you’re in the market for an above avarage laptop and don’t want to break the bank, the Aspire 6930 is the way to go
Features:
- 2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo proccessor T5800
- 800 Mhz front side bus
- 16 inch HD Acer CineCrystal LCD display
- 3 GB DDR2
- 320 GB HDD
- Dual layer Sper Multi DVD drive
- built in a/b/g and draft N wireless network adapter
- Windos Vista Home Premium
- Dolby Home Theater speakers with built in Tuba sub-woofer
- more
