With services like Skype, Yahoo Messenger and Logitech Vid, you’re(ok, maybe not you, but I am) gonna want to be able to get up, walk around, you know, multi-task.  The  ClearChat™ PC Wireless ($99.99) makes that very possible.

At first look, I was impressed by the clean design.  Everything looked to be in it’s place.  Set was extremely easy, you plug the usb reciever into your computer, turn on the headphones, and you’re ready to go.  They even came charged, so I didn’t have to wait to play with them.

The fit is great, the head band is adjustable, as would be expected and the ear pads are cushioned enough that you could wear them for hours comfortably.

The sound quality is very good for communication, everything sounds crisp and clear.  They are decent for music as well.  While you will be able to make out everything that is sung, it doesn’t go very loud and it’s missing that bass punch that makes you want to move while listening to your favorite jam.

Features:

  • Clear talk noise cancellation.  Background noise is cut to a minimum so whoever you are speaking to can hear you loud and clear.
  • 33 feet of wander room
  • Power, volume and mic mute all on the headset
  • Laser-tuned drivers to reduce distortion

All that being said, the ClearChat gets my stamp of approval!
