There are a few hands free bluetooth speakerphones available on the market right now. While they all perform that basic function, some do it well, and others not so much. I was able to get my hands on Freeway($129.99) from Jabra, and i gotta say, i’m impressed. It paired with my phone in about 10 seconds out of the box. Before making or taking any calls on it, i decided to check out the sound quality by streaming some mp3′s to it from my phone. (more…)

Jabra Stone2
Jabra continues it’s Stone legacy with the latest follow up, the Stone2. Like the original, it’s a right ear only design that comes with “stone” that is used for charging. Aesthetically, not too much has changed, except that it comes in two finishes. There’s a glossy version which can be found at AT&T and a leather version with you can pick up at Verizon, both for $129.99. (more…)
Usually you wouldn’t think the terms “ear buds” and “bluetooth” would go together, but Jabra has shaken things up a bit. Today they announced the Clipper ($59.99). It’s a stereo bluetooth headset system, (which as the name would suggest) that clips on to your bag, belt, dog’s collar or whatever u like. (more…)
I wish for the life of me I had taken pics, but over the past 2 weeks I saw 2 seperate women with their cell phones tucked into their headbands and were having convos like they were speaking on bluetooth headsets. I was just really amused.

I know the title is a lil dramatic, but that’s how it is when you have something in your life, you kinda take it for granted, then you lose it. Well it happens to us all, and here’s my story of love and loss.
sad face
So a while back I did a post about the Jabra Stone. You know the one, the bluetooth headset that comes with its own carrying case/charging pod aka the “stone”. Well over New Years weekend…while out of town visiting family, I kinda sorta lost it. And I know I know, your like “man, i thought you were gonna tell me your girl left you”. I mean it’s not quite as serious, but it did bring me comfort. To date, it is the most comfortable headset I’ve worn. It’s amazing to be able to go all day with one in your ear. And the fact that it plays music makes it twice as nice.
So by the end of the weekend, it’s time to go back home. I tell everyone that I came in contact with to be on the look out for my baby. I called the restaurant to see if it was in the lost and found. They put me on hold but I know they didn’t look. But anyway, I went home without my baby and slowly accepted that it was gone.
Now fast forward a few weeks. I’m visiting the fam again and we happen to be tearing the house apart for one thing or another and what appears from way beneath a couch???? My Stone of course! Long story short, my baby’s back , and i’m in love again.
