Sony Ericsson has brought the Xperia™ X1 state side without the backing of a major carrier.  So you might be thinking, what does that mean?  Well for you it means you have to buy it directly from Sony for the price of $800.  On  the up side, the phone is unlocked and you can use it with the GSM carrier of your choice. MPC5000 The music Production Big Boy

The good people over at Akai Proffessional have blessed me with the chance to try out the MPC5000.  Now I’m a music fan all day, but as far making it, my skills are lacking to say the least.  I recruited a friend of mine and music producer Vaughn Andrews to take it for a spin.  To say he liked it is way too easy, check out what he thought in his words.

Netflix on any screen

I was able to check out the Netflix player by Roku and i gotta say, it’s worth the $99 investment.  its compact, simple to set up and does what it says it will…allows you to view Netflix online content on you TV.  Here’s a lil clip of me playing with it.
